5-ingredient dark-chocolate coconut almond snacks

5 ingredients ║ 40 minutes total time ║ Makes 16 small snacks (approx)


2 cup unsalted almonds

1 cup raw coconut flakes

1 cup unsweetened desiccated coconut

1/2 cup maple syrup

100g dark chocolate

To make

  1. Oven at 160 °C

  2. Mix together all ingredients EXCEPT dark chocolate

  3. Coat the almonds and coconut in the maple

  4. Scoop mixture into a greaseproof paper lined baking tray / muffin tray / cake tin

  5. Smoosh the mixture down

  6. Bake for 30 minutes

  7. Allow to cool

  8. Melt the chocolate in a saucepan (within another saucepan of water (bain marie style).

  9. Drizzle over the top

  10. Once set and if required chop into bars or pieces
